We’ve been to lots of conferences. Whether they’re for economic developers, chamber professionals, community builders, or place marketers, we always hear the same thing from other attendees:

Where is the talent attraction content?

So we decided to make our own.

Here at RoleCall, talent attraction is what we do. It’s ALL we do.

And the annual Talent Attraction Summit focuses entirely on talent, bringing together the country’s most innovative, creative, strategic leaders and practitioners to dig deep, share successes, and continue pushing this industry forward.

(Y’all, this is gonna be fun.)

Who is the Talent Attraction Summit for?

The Talent Attraction Summit is for any economic development, chamber of commerce, tourism, or government professional that wants to change the way places attract talent. It’s also open to any person that is passionate about their community and making it better.

Who is it NOT for?

The summit is not for people looking to peddle their wares or drum up leads. It’s not for people who want to check a box or do things the same old way.

The summit is not for buttheads. Or soreheads. Or smartypants.

What will you get out of it?

The goals of the conference are to:

  • Build a national network of colleagues to help with tricky situations in economic development. Our communities and challenges are similar in many ways, and we can help each other.

  • Learn about what others are doing. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel. Maybe someone has a great solution for something you’re working on. Let’s share and problem-solve together.

  • Challenge ourselves to grow and innovate. This industry is evolving. We’re at the forefront. How do we envision the next iteration of talent attraction and economic development? What can we dream up and bring to life?

  • Explore Fargo. This will be fun and productive. North Dakota is an innovator in talent attraction, and Fargo is full of surprises. Leaders and community members here are excited to share their stories and this city with you. You’re going to love it.

Why will this conference be different than other economic development events you’ve attended?

  • A carefully curated list of attendees. Only people that want to be there for the right reasons will be accepted. (Want to join us? Apply here!)

  • We’ll be focused on talent attraction and the pieces of economic development that go with it — marketing, placemaking, surprising newcomers, connection, partnership, etc.

What will you leave with?

  • A generous network of people who GET it and want to help you succeed

  • Real, actionable ideas for yourselves, your work, and your community

  • Support and inspiration to kickstart or amplify your talent attraction strategy

  • A bigger passion to grow our piece of the industry

  • A better understanding of people-focused economic development

How much does it cost?

  • Early bird registrations are $550 until March 1

  • Regular registrations are $775 and are on sale through May 10
